Russian lens database?

Is there some kind of russian lens database? I'm curious as to what I should be hunting out on eb*y.

And just to clarify, the Fed's screw mount is called M39?

And yes the FED & Zorki take the M39 (LTM) thread lens. Do a little research before buying Soviet M39 lenses, some are made for the older Zenit SLR's and wont work on a rangefinder (at least till you can spot the differences in a photo).

wouldn't work on the rangefinder. Thankfully the seller states that, but I wouldn't have any idea really.

These things are addictive. Each little bit is so inexpensive it's hard to say no. My wife doesn't seem to appreciate the beauty of ancient cameras.... Alas.

Right they are very inexpensive and it is a big problem. ;) It appears to be easy to collect a lot of them. The problem is that the quality is all over the shop and I have read that the chance of getting a good sample is about 1 in 4. You can reduce those odds by doing a bit of research, there is some info here and on other forums that is helpful. I am interested in a 135mm and a 50mm in Leica screw-mount and there's plenty to read on the internet about both of these lenses, I'm sure that's true of other lenses too.
