I notice a Leica bias...
I was looking for a Fed/Kiev/Zorki comparison, (Features, ease of use).
For the rest of us...
I do have a Canonet QL19, but not here, but it's fixed lens and Av only make it less versatile in Street photography.
Mind, so would changing lenses in the middle of a busy street scene if it takes you 2 minutes with cold fingers.
I am therefore suggesting a sticky for newbies to Rangefinders who think there is only Leica and Contax and no affordable options.
I left out reliability in the bracketed bit because having owned Zenits, I know the lottery on that score
So, A Russki RF sticky anyone?

BTW, and off Topic.
Seagull, (Chinese) have brought out a manual focus, Minolta lens compatible DLSR.
It has a fixed 1.5 inch LCD....
I didn't either bother to read down to the Megapixel count
3 maybe?
Mind, size isn't everything, but on Chinese things you can also forget originality, reliability and even usability.
I know, I live there

There is a forum section for Former Soviet Union Rangefinders:
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=34
It's one of the more active forum sections on RFF, and there's even a FSU RF Photo Contest going on at the moment; I'd say the FSU option is pretty well received on this forum.
If you got this news from Rokkor Files, I suggest you click on the icon on the very bottom of the feature page:
