Hmm, I had read that while it was not staged per se, multiple passes were made until the right reaction was obtained from the bystanders.
IMO it does not matter, it is a knock out shot.

It was one of my ESL struggle to trying say it politely what I find exhibited male behavior in 1952 to be awful.

I'm taking it personally, since my girlfriend from younger times wasn't pleased to see men crawling on trees in eighties to see her taking sunbath (Bulgaria), my mother-in-law unable to walk on the streets in Georgia in seventies due to male misbehavior and one of my daughters running back to home this summer after she was followed and yelled by bunch of thugs in the car (Canada).

FWIW:

I have viewed the pic in past, never occurred to this dodger it was staged and I remain in that mind-frame...kind of thing makes me droll, but seeing it again reminded me of my best shot...

And, so what if the street people were already there and so what if the gals decided to "play" the street and then caught a wonderful pic? Still candid to me.

I plain missed my favorite shot being a good lad.

And the orig pic also reminded what this old coyote dog thought when first viewing...

"I wonder if ...e ..t ....?"

Forgive my base candor, but I have no boundaries!

Neither was staged; the pussy and cock were already there...

The one I missed - was a true "money shot," as the above gal's is, but RGB...I missed it because I ceded to Amish dislike of "craven" images, never once seeing the craven me for the slut I am...!
