S4 EP Serial Number Registry?

I did a quick search and didn't see anything, is there a registry or something for the Nikon S4 EP serial numbers, I've had my for about month and wanted to share if people were tracking them. It's my first rangefinder and I love it. I have a wide collection of Nikons and have been looking for one of the S cameras. This one showed up at one of my local stores for a really good price, I guess since it had the shutter patch. I figure some point will need to go in to the repair shop and have the shutter replaced, and a CLA but so far it's been solid, I just need to make sure I take the lens cap off.

My S4 EP is 6504728 with a feet scale, I didn't get lens with it but ended up finding a 5cm f/1.4. It's quickly turning in to a daily carry for just quick snap shots. What does the "T" engraved means is that a normally what is engraved on a S4?

The EP Mark is for items sold at a US army exchange, the T Mark is for traveler duty free cameras.




My Nikon S3 has a T mark and is marked in feet:




I got a nice 3.5cm f2.5 for the S3 yesterday and I'm looking forward to shooting it on the weekend!

I've got an S4 EP - one of my favorite all-time cameras!

I love mine too, easy daily carry and the lens is great, I've paired it with a AstrHori AH-M1 silver light meter. This is my one and only rangefinder so far and I get the attraction, street photography and daily events shot makes a ton of sense as it's so quiet.
