Safari in Black and White

Really nice Roland. My pick is the shot with the sun streaming through the clouds. I'd hang that on my wall :) I also enjoyed the animal shots. Great to see some B/W of that subject. Perhaps we could see some of 'camp life' taken with the M4?

Roland, how close can you get to the lions and cubs? Some of your shots are closer than when I've taken my 35mm equivalent 35-420-ish lumiz zoom to the SF and Seattle zoos ;)
 
John, I have a couple of camp pictures, but no permission from my better half to show them :)

Ted, very close sometimes (2-3m ?). Basically, when you stay inside the (open) Land Rover, the Lions ignore you.

Very nice! In times were we can see a gazillion boring images of safaris from just as many tourists, your black and white images really stand out. Well done. My wife and I are planning to go to the Galapagos Islands in the fall and your images are an inspiration.
