Safe selling to a new member?

I've got a possible sale.

The member is new to RFF, past few days, so I don't "know" them.

If I ask for a bank transfer (not PayPal) do you think it's safe to go ahead and sell?

My bank tells me that once the other member deposits the money into my account using the IBAN system the other member cannot later reverse the payment.

It's my first time selling and I want to be sure of the etiquette.

It sounds safe to me if you use the IBAN system. I can't see how the transfer could be cancelled by the payer.

If your bank says it cannot be reversed then it sounds good.

IBAN transfers are irreversible, Jon. It is absolutely safe (for the seller 😉 ) to use it.
He doesn't even need your real address or contacts for paying with that, only the IBAN number, city and name.

Moneygram is pretty good. Sent a huge chunk of dough to the states for a jobo and it worked out well and fast. ymmv
