This week I came home and found a care package from my cousin containing an Ansco film tank and a partially disassembled early 60s Kodak Retina Automatic III, rescued from a basement cleanup. I'm considering removing and adapting the Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Xenar 2.8/45 lens to my Lumix GX7. I'll remove the shutter blades or lock it in B mode if I can (shutter appears nonfunctional, perhaps why it was partially disassembled), but would like to preserve the aperture control.
Anyone have some tips on disassembling the body to the point where the lens/shutter/aperture assembly can be removed?
