Many here at RFF will know about this......a NEW YEARS TRADITION since about 1972 shown on German TV, but known thoughout Europe and Australia.

But if you don't then prepare for an amazingly funny sketch which has become a cult New Years tradition

Freddie Frinton and May Warden play in this cult classic recorded in the NDR studios in 1963 - "Dinner For One" or "The 90th Birthday Party"

I have seen this clip several times when I would spend Christmas time in Germany with friends. Just today I was joking with them on the phone about this play.
