I think the picture of your niece really shows that look the leica lenses are said to show.

I agree with Jorge, and it's notably different in bokeh from Merciful's Canon f/1.2. Is she "putting up with uncle Todd"? Your 35 seems to be working well too!

Great shot of your niece, however she seems a bit less enthusiatic about your new Leica than any of us on this forum.

Agree with the group! Shot # 3 is quite pleasing and nice in pose, bokeh and lighting.

Print it and give her a copy. If she doesn't like it, tell her you'd like to repeat it. That way you can practice your portrait skills!
