Made a Jupiter-9 work by letting some super glue smears dry on back of lens mount .

Super Glue aka cyanacrylate emits fumes that coagulate around whatever impurities are on the glass, which is why it's used in forensics for securing fingerprints on glass. It may also make surfaces go blind (in particular when it's transparent plastic). I would be very hesitant to use it anywhere near glass in one of my cameras.
