samyang 8/2.8 images

Good shots Joe. The Samyang is a good lens. Mighty wide though and needs some care in use, I still get the odd finger in the way. Suits shooting big stuff eg buildings etc. Definitely good value for money.

it will take a while for me to get the hang of a lens this wide...

If BA let's me, I'll slap it on my camera and take a group shot...

The 8mm is so wide I have seen the picture taker in some group shots.. Makes a funny but interesting shots well... I wonder if it is wide enough to be on the table on delayed timer. In any case it should e a fun shot of u guys.

Not just wide. You have to deal with the fisheye composition as well.

I also have an 8mm lens, albeit a zoom and rectilinear -- a Sigma 8-16mm.

Ultra wide composition is challenging but it's a lot of fun.

Oh, I planned on being in the pic too for sure. Hopefully people will cooperate... some people at our meet-ups are camera shy.
