I will be in San Francisco with my wife from September 11 to September 16. We will be at the Palace Hotel. I have to attend a conference for work, and my wife will be looking for stitching & knitting shops and seafood to entertain her while I sit and learn.
We'd love to grab a cuppa joe, even if it is after 'shooting hours' for available light photography!

Bill, point your wife toward Britex Fabrics at 146 Geary Street. That should fully occupy her attention for the duration! My wife will not miss visiting there whenever in the SF vicinity.
