Project24 assigned 24 film photographers to 24 San Francisco locations over the 24 hours of the winter solstice. The assignments were made at random. We each were to shoot black and white film for a single hour.
I was assigned 1am in North Beach so I camped out at Spec's bar with a 1940s Zeiss Super Ikonta, a few rolls of Kodak Tri-X. It resulted in some great pictures and a rather remarkable hangover.
The show is traveling to a few galleries in San Francisco this week, before settling in to the Dryansky Gallery in August and September. I hope you can find time to check it out.
