I heard the thunder and saw the lightning last night, but was too busy to get out there and shoot. This morning I see this awesome image taken by another photographer and it puts a smile on my face...but makes me really regret not getting out there...:bang:

I think it was his apartment but not sure where that would be..based on his vantage point its a great view thas for sure!

SF-Oak Bay Bridge, not the Golden Gate. Great shot nonetheless. Looks like the photographer was on top of Yerba Buena Island. Risky place to be with all those bolts flying around, but the source of many great SF shots.

It's a long exposure, not 8 lightning bolts at 1 moment like the caption implies.
