Saturday afternoon alone

Yah, I feel pretty lucky. It was a spare bedroom and storage room. I brought in the plumbing from the bathroom beside this room, and built the cabinets the enlargers sit on (to the right in the first photo) while on a paternaty leave (my wife and I split her maternaty leave) with the new baby on my back in a backpack/carrier or while he was taking a nap.

No, I don't use that Polaroid.

That's a very nice room Frank. I look at all of the stuff in there and marvel. I'm thinking of offloading some things but I look at your collection and I have nothing in comparison! I do have four 50mm lenses though... :)

I spent yesterday afternoon taking my youngest to college for her final undergraduate semester. I can hardly believe it; she was 21 just last September and now she's going to be graduating from college in June. Also I'm expecting some funds to loosen up - I paid my last college fees a couple of weeks ago. :D

Thanks Peter, I still have the college/university costs to look forward to. Luckily we've got an education fund building up for that.

Also I think the costs are lower in Canada then here so you are lucky. It is ridiculous here - a good private school is now in the region of $44K per year which is absolutely outrageous.

i'm curious to see/hear about your apx 400 in ilfosol
I thought I'd throw in my Silvertone (APX) 400 developed Saturday in Ilfosol.
Ilfosol 1+9, 68F, 12 minutes, 4 tilts on the minute.

Frank, I love that room. With a setup like that my wife would never see me though I don't think she would complain too much.

Exposed at 400, Joe. Ilfosol is a great all-purpose developer. Not very good for pushing or pulling, but does a fine job at rated ISO.

at 400?
i thought it would be more grainy at 400.

i have yet to process mine but i shot most of it at 200 thinking it would be better.
i need to process mine soon i think.
thanks again.

Silvertone (APX) 400 has very good grain with the right developer.
I'm going to have to try it in dilute Microphen some day.
