My Friend Joe has a pretty big exhibition at the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers. This show is ongoing, but on Saturday June 21st at 2:00 PM Joe will be giving an artist talk.
Joe is an old geezer who shoots both analog and digital including large format. He also is a member of The Hudson River School of Photography. Joe is a Peekskill resident and I know him through our work involving The Peekskill Herald.

The closest Metro North train station is Glenwood (local train), and Google says it is a 7 minute walk from the train station in Glenwood, even though the Hudson River Museum is technically in Yonkers.
Google also says it is a 5 minute cab ride from the Yonker’s Metro North Train Station.
Joe likely has been a professional photographer for over 50 years. If you know of The Hudson River School of Painting, pretty much this is as big a deal.
We could do lunch at noon in Glenwood, see the show at the museum (the largest in Westchester) and then go to Joe’s artist talk.
It’s been a while… Would be good to see old friends from NYC now that I’m a country boy.
My radiation treatments will be I believe Monday through Fridays scheduled in the mornings, except for holidays. No conflict with this event.

This exhibition celebrates Joseph Squillante’s golden anniversary by highlighting his intersection with the environmental movements that gained momentum along the river in the 1970s and continue today.
