Hello,

I shot a few of the perigree moon but because of time constraints I did not have time or a spot meter to determine exactly how bright the perigree moon was. These were shot with a wide angle lens so the moon isn't close up by any stretch of the imagination, mostly street shots with the moon illuminating in the sky.

Having never shot the perigree moon or the moon period for that matter does anyone know what SBR I should develop them at? N, N-1, N-2, etcetera?

I could under develop them to ensure I get something but I rather hear from someone who tried it for at least a starting point.

Sincere thanks,

Consider what sort of day it was on the moon. Was it a dark overcast day or was it a bright sunny day. If the latter then applying the sunny 16 rule would have given you approximately the correct exposure for the moon. Then knowing the exposure you actually used you will know how many stops of over exposure you gave to the moon so you can work out how many stops of N- you need..
