As I will be having a birthday in june I may be getting some birthday money to spread around. I have had my eye on a SC 28 for my IIA for quite some time but by my calculations (and a little luck) picking up a G1 with a 28 Biogon would not be much difference in price. Could I a diehard rangefinder user have some fun with the G1 or am I just being lured by "the new girl" ?
I know my experiances would vary but would be interested in the views of others.
As for me I shoot mostly black and white street photography...... the faster lens is not a big selling point for me but feel a strong pull to try some of that newer Zeiss glass

From one gear addict to another: keep the number of systems down, get the Color Skopar.
Plus it's a great lens and wonderful combo with iif and mini-finder.

I second Roland's recommendation. Get the SC Skopar 28/3.5. It's a great little lens. I use one on my Nikon SP.
