Scan troubleshooting - banding issues

Hi guys,
anyone know what's up with this scan?

I've had no end of issues with this bloody scanner. Epson v350's SUCK!!!!!!

Doesit always do this? It is probably stepping the sensor array incorrectly, I'd call Epson and ask them about service while it is under warranty.

It just started doing it, and it seems to be getting worse. It's just out of warranty, and it's actually a replacement (under warranty) scanner as well.

That's ugly alright ... I assume this wasn't happening before you went on your trip? I gather the V350 is not a particularly high end device in the scanning range of Epson's flat beds.

Cheers Keith, I think this may have just started happening before I left, but I wasn't scanning much just then.
