scanner + exif?

My scanner (Nikon CS V) sticks its own data into the exif info when using the coolscan software. I can't seem to find any settings in nikonscan to customize this, and photoshop cs2 will not allow me to modify that part.

I'm guessing I'll need a third-party utility to do so?

Do you Perl? If so, there is a nice EXIF module and you can 'roll your own'.

Bill, I have not perled in a long time! Same goes for python.

Don't have much of a desire to get back into it now, I went from l33t to luser over the last few years 😀 😛
