At the time of the any digital technology and in a world or everything goes too fast. I said to myself that I shall change well my way of photographing to take time again.
I again think of making images with the film.l ' purchase of a leica m6 with its 28 mm would not know how to delay.
Then I wish to digitize my negatives. That to advise me you as scanner I do not wish to spend all my budget in this device I prefer to buy to myself a beautiful optics and of the film.
Thank you

Leica M4-P, CV 28mm F2.0, Epson V700 Photo scanner for me. i'm not overly pleased with the 35mm scans from the V700 though, lately I've been printing 8x10's and scanning those and the results are better.though it is a slower and more expensive process.

if i had the $$$ i would probably get a Nikon Coolscan (or an Imacon, if I had the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$).

Go cheaper on the lens and camera, and more expensive on the scanner.

M6 or M4P + CV 28/3.5 or 28/1.9 + Nikon 5000 ED.

I am happy with Epson V500, but my expectation may be lower than yours. I use flatbed because I also want to scan my MF films.
Hiromu

For 35mm film i would recommend a dedicated scanner like one of the Nikon Coolscans. Nikon however produces the "cheaper" ones like the Coolscan 5 no more so prices of used scanners are rapidly surging.

Remember that your published photos will be no better as the weakest chain. Top optics and an unsatisfying scanner are a disapointing mix.
