I've been going through my old photos and tear sheets to post on my blog http://thepriceofsilver.blogspot.com and I recently ran across a couple of paste-ups of page layouts from 1968. The photos are cut to size and rubber cemented to a light weight poster board. Blank areas were left for blocks of type. Some headlines and copyright information was put directly over the photos with rub on transfer lettering. The pages are tabloid newspaper size. One page is a Jefferson Airplane concert at Pirate's World while the other two are of a rock fest called Pow Wow held at the Seminole Indian Reservation in Hollywood, FL.

I need some ideas about the best way to reproduce them on the blog. I don't want to dislodge any more of the crumbling type if possible. One end of the sheets is curled up a bit. They were in an 11x14 paper box and may have gotten damp at some point. The prints themselves show signs of silvering. I want them to look like they do now. I don't want to clean them up in any way or get rid of the slight yellowing of the white poster board.

I'm planning on slightly dampening the back of the poster board and flattening them out under glass and over a pile of newspaper so the dampness can escape, but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

Photograph them with a good digital camera on a copy stand setup with a set of lights for even illumination and avoidance of shadows.

Finding an 11x14 scanner will be a bigger problem than just photographing it for reproduction. After all, artwork is commonly photographed on a copystand setup for published reproduction.
