I just purchased a Schneider componon S for my Beseler and I purchased a new lens board with a leica mount.
The lens arrived but it looks like its missing a jam nut to mount it or is it?
The lens board is not threaded so I assume the person that sold it to me forgot to send the jam nut or do I have the wrong lens board?

Oh, where do I find one of those?

Any camera shop that carries darkroom stuff should have a box of them. Virtualy all enlargers use them, they're a standard item and are not expensive...a couple dolars each.

Interesting... All enlargers I used so far had a threaded mount. My current one Saunders/LPL C6600 has m39 mounting. Schneider Componon - S 50/2.8 I use for 35mm, is a very good lens, and there was no ring in a box. It came in plastic cap, card box and user manual booklet.

That's nice, wish my enlargers had been that way. I have a Beseler 23cII that I bought new around 1995, and an old Omega D2 and neither had threaded lensboards. I had to buy the retaining rings, they don't come with the lenses, at least not the Schneiders. I have 3 Componon-S lenses and all came in plastic bubble boxes like yours, without rings.

Mine came in the platic bubble case as well. I was just checking my El Nikkor and it had a threaded ring on it. So I thought I'd see if it fit the Schneider and it did!
I'm back in business! Thanks everyone for your help.
