My canonet ql19 GIII is scratching my film!!!
I thought it may be the pressure plate, but it seems smooth to me...
Does anyone know what might cause it? (I think it may be the take up chamber)
or have a problem like this??
I already developed 3 rolls at three different places... so its not the lab.

please help me find out what is scratching the film.. :bang:

Put a new (cheap) roll of film in it. Wind and shoot a couple frames. DO NOT Rewind. Open the camera and mark on the film (with a marker) the position of the film on the camera. Remove the film and inspect for the scratches. The side of the film and where the scratches end with respect to the position of the film to the body (your marker markings) will tell you where the scratches happen. Good luck!

I've had problems with scratched film, and after losing sleep over it, I eventually find out that the film canisters I was using (I bulk load) had little dust particles in the felt hairs, which caused a long line along the entire length of the film when I rewound it back into the cassette. Bought new cansters, and problem fixed. Camera pressure plates are a very rare source of scratches.

OK, i just developed that roll, the pictures (printed) look fine, but there is still scratches on the negatives... i think its happening when im rewinding, since i did what dnk512 said, and i do not bulk load,
and suggestions?
