Greetings!
This is the second roll i shoot with this Olympus 35RC. On the test roll i didnt notice, but on the second i got some weird results. These two photos are overexposed, (sunny 16 doesnt work always as expected ehehe), but i think that the sun and lights flare on are too much, and might be result of the large scratches i got on the front lens.
I would like your opinion on this one... Painting the scratches of black will help/resolve this problem?
There is also another question, as you can see the flare/light also goes out of the frame, is this normal? What could be the problem?
Thanks!

The second looks like internal reflections: will happen on any lens.
The scratch, if big enough, might cast a bright spot on a section of the image that it should not. It took a big chip out of a J-3 front element to do that. Painting it black stopped it. I could hols the lens in sunlight and see the spot cast where it should not be.

I painted the scratches of black... but I have a bad feeling these will be noticed on hard situations
Oh well... it is a pitty because I really like the feel of the camera ..
I ll still give it one more try... and thanks for the reply.
