Screen and strap options for my new rolleiflex

I do like the look of the Barton 1972 strap, but $55 I think is too much... Must resist and settle for something like the Op/Tech, as long as it does it's job right...

On the screens, for those with experience of both the Maxwell, which I gather is the best money can buy screen (with a few limitations which will always be the case as nothing is perfect) and the Oleson, is the Maxwell so much better, particularly in low light conditions that I experience in mostly grey ol' London

Yes, you would use the Pro Loop connectors instead of the 3/8" connectors. Just stick the loop portion through 1 of the openings in the Rolleiflex strap lug & thread the whole strap through it (the loop should stretch enough) to make the knot (like adding 2 wrist straps, 1 on each side).

Yes, the Maxwell is better than the Oleson. Even more so as the light dims. Is it 5x, 7x, whatever the price difference is these days? Hard to say. I use Oleson equiv. screens in many cameras and they work well. I have a Maxwell in one camera. The Oleson is quite usable in low light, in ways the older stock Rolleiflex groundglass isn't usable for me. The Maxwell, though, is a pleasure.

Does anyone know if there are high magnification loupes available for Rolleiflex?

They are made but not for all models. I think the newer models cannot be changed.
