Hi there,
New member, though I've been reading for a while now.
Since a few minutes I can call myself a proud Zorki-3 owner. Bought it through Ebay.
I just noticed that one screw is missing (frontside, left from the viewfinder).
Mailed the seller about it, but I'd like to know if this will affect my photo's in any way. Will I get lightleaks from it? I don't want to waste a roll of film if I don't need to.
Thanks!

cover the screw hole up with tape and put a roll of film thru the camera. take off the tape for one or two frames shooting in bright light, then cover up the screwhole again, see what developes when you process the film(pun intended). my bet is that it will be ok to use the camera without that screw as the top deck is seperate from the film chamber. there is already some stray light there in the top deck from the r/f windows even with all the screws in place in normal circumstances anyhow.

Hi and welcome to the forum,
The missing screw will not affect your photos. It is one of the screws which holds the top cover on. I should be able to find you a spare. I will have a hunt through the "bits" box. If you send me a PM with your address, I will send it.

I got missing screw for my IIIc's Summmitar from local clockmaker's shop... Maybe you could try it too.
