Screw-mount Pentax repair specialist ?

Sorry if this is covering old ground, didn't seem to find anything from a forum search.

Is there a go-to specialist in the US for screw-mount Pentax SLRs ?

I have an HV-1 that needs CLA, light-seals, etc.

This particular camera / lens has sentimental value, so I would rather have it rehabilitated than just try to find another in working order. 😉

www.pentaxs.com is the place. Eric does a good job and is not too expensive. He's done two S1a and one Spotmatic - all good work.

Yes, Eric Hendrickson is your man for Pentax film cameras.

I've lost count of how many bodies and lenses Eric has serviced for me,
both bayonet and screwmount.

He has done many thing for me too. Never any complaints: Spotmatic, 6x7, 6x7 105mm lens, 6x7 Pentaprism meter, 28mm screw mount lens.

If you use older Pentax cameras eventually you will find your way to Eric. He does a pretty decent job. Not everything is repairable at a reasonable rate...or at all...but if that is the case he will let you know.
