So, I just got my M2 (SN 990183) from ebay today, and took it for a runthrough.
All the fast speeds seem accurate enough, as do the 1/8 and 1/15 speeds.
Once I get to the 1/4, 1/2, and 1 second speeds, however, I find some problems.
The 1/4 second works about half the time, the other times it sounds like the 1/15 speed. The 1/2 second and 1 second don't work at all, the shutter just sticks open and I hear gears winding inside. I've only done this twice, maybe three times because the shutter won't reset unless I move the shutter dial to a new speed.
Any help? Do I just need to break the L-Seal and send it to DAG for a CLA?
The seller, unfortunately, only promised returns if item was DOA.
