Sculpture by the Sea is a wonderful sculpture exhibition which occurs every year on a scenic coastal walk between Bondi Beach and Tamarama Beach in Sydney's eastern suburbs. I thought these two light-hearted contributions from this year's event would be enjoyed on this thread. Sharnana, by Drew McDonald and King Kong Balls by Denis Defrancesco.

Does not quite look like Carnival. ;o) Between -40F and Caribou with 190 proof it gets pretty crazy for Carnival. And the Vingt-deuxiemme seems to always win the race to Levis and back. Colice, fait froid la. The province has spirit.

It has been a long time since I've gone to winter carnival, so I don't know about the pink babies. However they still have the -40 f temps. My old bones can't take that as well as they used to.

In Harvard Yard, there is a bronze statue of John Harvard whose toes are brightly polished by generations of students passing by and rubbing those toes for good luck. I really, really hope that this isn't the case here... 😉
