I just got a Seagull 203 and am very happy except for one thing: I can't see the RF patch. :bang:
If I completely cover the VF window, I can see the green RF patch but in daylight it simply is not visible
.
If I look(from the front of the camera) into the RF window, I can see a dim rectangle of light.
I read the thread about using a marker to darken the center of the RF window to increase the contrast between the RF and VF but that's treating the symptom.
What's the real fix for this?
This camera cost me very little so I'm not too afraid of taking it apart if needed, just not sure where to start(no screws that I can see).
I can use this as a scale focus camera but I'd rather get it working right.
Any suggestions/ideas, folks?

Mine has no prisms, just 2 mirror (a fully silvered and a half silvered). This leads to dim RF patch and ghosting....sigh...
Though I think the RF alignment both horizontal and vertical are easy to adjust. Just losen the screws to shift the lens of the RF mechanism; or move the RF mirror (more complex though, IMO).
I am wondering how you can get inside the shutter (are spanner wrenches a must have?)
