After cutting several rolls into strips for storage, I started looking at other methods besides scissors. I often use a pair of thread snips from my wife's sewing kit but just out of curiosity began looking at dedicated negative cutters. Most of the reviews indicated the less expensive one would scratch the negative and the blades wear out quickly. The expensive cutters are illuminated and apparently work well but they were considerably more money for something that would only get occasional use. Poking around on E-Bay, I found a Seary Negative Cutter for the grand total of twenty-eight USD including shipping. The seller states he bought it new about 1980 and never used it. Information has been hard to come by, so I'll post a photo by the seller and ask if any forum members have any knowledge about this piece.
