I, for one would like to know how you were able to focus in Baranoff's. I'm not so amazed at the photo, but I am awestruck by how you got the woman's face in focus in the dark in there. I'm assuming you shot wide open and close, so there was zip for dof.

Any Sat. sounds good, as long as there is no Husky game, or we meet somewhere far away (like more than 10 miles) from Montlake.
 
How about a Sunday (next, 25th???), this would solve the Husky game issue, present free parking (everywhere) as well as a reduced crowd count.

An unexpected surprise! Family members from Europe have rearranged their US trip to arrive today for a week long visit. Party includes two teenagers. I think I will be absent from any Sunday festivities although I may be at the EMP or the zoo, or some other fun place with a digital camera.

I am disappointed as I really did want to find out how Aaron gets such good shots in dimly lit bars. I see it was very close to a big fire in that area a day or so ago.

:confused: Talking about rangefinders (and other cameras!), photography and DRINKING BEER should not be such a complicated proposition!

How about next Saturday (10/31, Halloween, no Husky game, etc.)????
 
I'll try to make it down there on Saturday. What time are we shooting for?

I stopped into Big Time the day of the UW/USC game, the place was packed with people in costume, weird. Hopefully we won't run into the same. I may have to pull out a costume for standby just in case.:D

Presumably, this was anticipatory costume. :D At least we can point back at this game! I would go for a meeting after lunch, say around 1-2pm.
 
A gentle reminder about This Saturday. How about 1PM? (I will be there, regardless!). An additional reminder that after 12:00, you can park on the UW campus, for free. Nearest location would be the Red Square garage (1/2 block south, 1 block east). Alternate site is up by the Burke Museum.
 
I won't be able to make it due to some travel this weekend, but have fun! For my RF part, I've been having fun shooting my R4A with Fuji 800Z this past week. Can't wait to see how the shots come out.
 
I'll be back in Seattle Saturday night and could meet Sunday. I might need a reminder call or email though. I seem to be forgetful about these meet ups..
 
Sunday sounds good here. I am up north here in Bothell and can meet pretty much anywhere...I see a local RFFer made the gallery pics for this week, cool! If interested, I rolled a batch of Eastman Double-X if anyone wants a roll or 2 to play around with.

Yes the 3rd is what we're going for, 1pm works for me as plummerl suggested. As for Old Wooly, I will buy the first round. Now if we have say a quorum of sorts (4), I'll buy the second round too. :D
