It was a fantastic film. Saw it in the theater in general release, and now i look forward to rewatching it at home. It definitely is magnificent on the big screen but if you missed that, see it anyway, on the largest device possible. Don't disrespect the work by watching it in a little computer window.

I liked the film, although I think Wenders reverence for Sebastiao rounded his rough edges off a little too much. That said, I am a fan of Sebastiao. "Workers" is gritty and "Genesis" is just beautiful photography.

I got the family to sit down and watch a "photography documentary" with me when it was available on iTunes. We watched it on a 60-inch HD monitor.
Looked great technically, but the suffering in the middle of the movie really turned my family off. Yes, it's reality, and yes, it's some of what Salgado was known for, but it was a fairly depressing ride.
Good documentary...but not a date movie.
