Yesterday I saw an M3 (without visible signs of using) with Summitar 1.5/50 lens, and Leica meter (with probably not functional selenium cell). Very nice camera, indeed! Could you tell me more about the lens, please? Are all Summitars collapsible?

Z, yes, all Summitars are collapsible. They were Leica's moderate speed lens prior to the Summicron. Early on in their production run they were uncoated, later coated. Well made, very highly thought of. They produce classic images said to be very much "Leica like" lower contrast with good center sharpness and excellent separation of the subject and background, "glow" if you allow me to say.

And, um, you do need an M3.
