Sekonic L-208 $110 @ NewEgg

I haven't found mine to be very accurate when compared to several very good meters that are all very close to each other. There's also some inconsistency between reflected measurements and incident. And yes, I have been very careful in making my comparisons. I set it on a lower film speed to get useful results. There is some mechanical slack as you turn the dial. I always turn from high to low. Doing it the other way around will give a slightly different result.

George Milton recently revived mine (took a fall) and was surprised that "they still make them" (his words). To me, they're unbeatable, littke, cute gizmos with a nice sensitivity range. And quite reliable too! If NewEgg is selling them at this price... it's worth getting a backup.

Speaking of which, I have one already: a selenium meter from Sekonic (old school but not bad).

Maybe I've been lucky but mine matches my Luna Pro and a VCII perfectly.

Mine matches my Luna Pro and older Sekonic as well, and I checked in a bunch of different light environments.

I liked the Digisix before I lost it, but the temperature and alarm clock stuff drove me nuts. Something about putting it in my pockets always changed the settings. If someone can hack one and get rid of the extra functions, let me know.

I got the new one from NewEgg the other day. It is right on with my other meter and Canon 7D meter. So I guess there may be a quality control issue at Sekonic, at least with this meter.
