Sell Leica M4 for X-E2?

Maybe, but they are still small scans done by a bulk scanning machine. Maybe we just expect something differently. After working in real color darkrooms for many years, I expect more than what I'm seeing from supposedly pro labs everywhere. I haven't tried the aforementioned lab, but I do find it hard to believe they are that much better when they offer "premium scans" for a lot more cash.

What size are their scans' pixel dimensions.
What is the scan color JPEG space??
Do they offer flat TIFF scans?

I still have my Nikon RF , 35 , 50 and 105 but dont use them
I regret selling all my Leica lenses
But dont regret selling the m3 , m4 and m6

For me I like the ability to switch to monochrome to color simply
I like to see my aperature and shutter speed and change it without going to a menu
To quickly change my iso
I like that I can use any brand of lens with an adapter
I like the weight of my XE-2 but felt my Pro-1 was heavy
I like that i can check the shot right away and not wait a week
I like the focus peaking of the newer Fuji's , much easier to focus
When using a 50mm lens I can keep both eyes open because the viewfinder shows exactly , i think that is for the XE-2 and Pro1-2. The xt-1 and xt-2 are set for 35mm
I like that the xe and pro finder is on the left and not in the center, my nose mushes up against the screen

I would recommend getting a xe2 and use your Leica lenses with a $20 adapter for each lens
The 35 and 50 are my favorite

Yes.

Fujifilm's focus peaking has improved significantly.

It typically takes awhile to become familiar with how to use focus peaking. But it does work well. The magnify-view with color 'speckles' even gets the job done for critical focusing.

The spit-view is useful for some subjects, but almost requires vertical lines at the focus point. I don't know if the split-view option is improves with the X-Pro 2
