Selling lenses - need advice

I've decided to sell the lenses that I never use, and need advice for a fair asking price. They are in mint condition, w/ original shades, caps, cases, boxes, paperwork etc:

- 21mm apsh. (11135) w/ finder and B+W F-Pro UV and B+W red/orange 041 filters
- 50mm f/2 Summicron, built-in shade (11826)

I'd like to avoid ebay, and will post them here (and other sites that you could suggest) after I take some decent pics of them. Meanwhile, what do you suggest as fair prices, both for the buyer and myself? I'm not desparate to sell them, so I have no interest in taking a beating.

To determine fair asking price I would check closed auctions on ebay. What one person says is a fair asking price may not be a realistic price..

When you say "mint" are they really that good condition or do they have usage marks, dust, cleaning marks, etc?

When it come to high dollar items you will need to described each and every defect in order to avoid any problems down the line.

Yes the 21 is quite expensive isn't it? I think your prices are about right Tom.
