I’m selling my Epson R-D1 camera. I bought it new from Ffordes in Scotland at the end of 2004 – serial number is 002466. It has served me well, but I can’t justify keeping it any more, so now is your chance to grab a bargain. The sale comprises:
Epson R-D1 digital rangefinder camera body
Epson battery charger [A281H] (cable has UK plug)
Epson lithium ion rechargeable battery pack [EU-85]
Epson R-D1 software
Epson R-D1 instruction manual
The camera is in near-mint condition and functions as it should – I’ve had no problems with it. It is complete with neck strap, body cap and original box. Please note, however, only the Epson software is included – there is no Adobe Photoshop Elements software. I’m asking £1499.00, including insured Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK.
I’m also selling the following accessories (all prices include postage within the UK):
Voigtländer 21mm D viewfinder. The body of the viewfinder is in near-mint condition, but the front element has a scratch about 5mm long. The viewfinder is in its original box. Price £49.00.
Hand grip - rather like a larger Voigtländer side grip - originally designed to be used on a Nikon FM body, but altered so that it fits on an R-D1 body (following instructions found on an earlier posting on this site). Price £19.00.
Fujifilm battery charger [BC-85] (cable has UK plug), with 2 x Fujifilm lithium ion rechargeable battery packs [NP-80]. These NP80 batteries fit the R-D1 and have a rating of 1300 mAh. The charger will charge these batteries and Epson’s own EU85 batteries. Price £49.00.
I'm in the UK, and I can accept payment by cheque (in pounds sterling and drawn on a UK bank) or cash, or by PayPal or bank transfer. However, if you live outside the UK and are interested in the R-D1 please bear in mind that shipping will be extra and that Royal Mail postal services overseas only include insurance up to £500 (unless you want to pay an exorbitant extra sum). I work in central London, so if anyone locally is interested in buying these items, you are welcome to see them first at my office.

I have an R-D1, but always looking to build out my lens collection. I'm in London so could easily collect for cash.
