Apologies if this isn't the correct forum.

I was just wondering if/how fellow RFF members have had any of their work published.

How do you go about doing it?

I'm not really after making any money from it, but it would be satisfying to see some work in print; assuming it's good enough of course.

Any insight would be very welcome.

Bob.

I started by sending, and more often taking, photographs to the editors of publications. Once I had sold a few pictures, some buyers would from time to time ask me for more or would commission me. It was the same with pieces of writing. This was long before the Internet was born.

I have a website, and I get contacted directly through it for the occassional sale or use.
I have also had a few things published on a mass call for work that was published in a book.
Just watch for opportunities, www.jpgmag.com is a good way to submit stuff for consideration.
They pay $100 if they publish a photograph.
Good Luck!
Brian
