Anyone here get an FSU camera logo as a tatto? Any guys with maybe a stylized armband of all the logos, or chicks with a GOMZ or ROMZ logo in the small of their backs?

Not that I have an FSU tattoo, though it would be really funny to see my wifes expression.

Barring a tatto, anyone think we might be able to raise a few bucks for the RFF forum with a FSU logo t-shirt? Something tasteful, obviously something red.

Possible logos, translated into Russian.

If you think this Jupiter has a large opening, you should see Uranus.
If you think this is a Leica, maybe you'll think my Yugo is a Mercedes.

Maybe have printed on it all the variations of the Sunny 16 rule for exposure guestimation.

Sorry, its like 103 here today.

It was beautiful in the mountains... I spent the afternoon hiking up to Herman Lake just this side of Loveland Pass... The wildflowers are stunning right now! Hopefully I got some nice shots. I mostly used my CV 15/4.5 & 35/2.5... Attached pic is me...

Cheers

Oh, and I'd definitely buy a FSU tshirt!!!

I liked this one...

Peter,

Looks like the flowers are in bloom! Just moved here last year and between travelling for work, my wifes work schedule, and our 17 month old, I don't get out much into the mountians. I would think all the rain last week has helped the flowers, if they didn't get flushed down the mountian!

I thought the logos for the FSU cameras are kind of cool, and lord knows I'm always looking for more T-Shirts.

Hey Mark,

Nice to see there are at least 2 RFFers in Denver... I thought I was the only one for a while... Sounds like you have a lot on your plate, but when you get the chance to get out and about I strongly suggest you pick up these 3 books (click links below):

A Guide to Colorado's Best Photography Locations

Colorado's Best Wildflower Hikes Vol 1: The Front Range

Colorado's Best Wildflower Hikes Vol 2: The High Country

I have found that even though the latter 2 books are orientated towards wildflowers, the places they suggest are spectacular whether you take note of the plants or not...

Cheers!

Peter

Thanks for the book ideas. I picked up John Fielder's book, and then forgot it the one time I have been in the mountians. I should just leave it in my Jeep.

I'm really hoping we get the Democratic National Convention for 2008. That will be some great street shooting, no matter what your political bent is. I think it has the possibility of being another '68.

Best Regards,
Mark

We need that? Or are you talking about just the street shooting? 😀

If we do a F/16 rule set can we have it upsided down so it is useful to the person wearing the tea shirt, it would be for me? We could include other things

e.g. a between lens efficiency nomograph

or

My other camers is digital/a phone etc...

or

My other camera is an en stuck M

or

My other camera used to belong to HCB

or

Is a Helios 103 too hot for you? (see quote about temperature earlier...)

perhaps we need a competation to decide of the best caption/photo.

Is this enough to annoy a moderator?
