Okay...uh...ahem...is summer really almost over? I think we might have missed a meet or so. Oh, well. I'm pretty sure the Chicago Club handbook doesn't penalize for it. In fact, there might be a reward for it.

Oak Park for September sounds good.

I was actually wondering if we were doing anything this weekend, but then I was conscripted to help run a yard sale, so it wouldn't matter.

Why are we skipping October? The weather would surely still be better for shooting than it will in Nov.
 
Matt, thank you for including me in the invitation. It just so happens that I picked up my MP last week for the first in months! I've been so busy this summer after buying a new house last January and getting married in February, that my photography has been neglected. But I finished a roll that had been sitting in the camera since spring and I can feel a hunger to burn more film returning!

I'm not sure if and when I could make it to the Chicago area, but I will check our calender and see what's open for the next couple months. I would love to meet at a bookstore with some of you guys, talk camera, and hit the streets for some pictures.
 
Hey, folks! How about a meet in the State St Borders next weekend? I'd like to sneak into Central Camera afterwards, and my wife wants to see an exhibit in the Chicago Cultural Center that ends on Sept 21.

Besides, I want to compare my M4-2 with Matt's! 🙂

So, who's in for Saturday, sept 6th? How about the 13th?
 
I don't think I can make the 13th... We have an invitation to go (gasp!) to Madison, WI. Nothing firm yet... but still, a monkeywrench.

In any case, we'll see about the 20th! 🙂
 
Is the 13th decided on for Oak Park?

I'm very busy with work but may be able to make it. I'll subscribe to the thread and watch as the plan formulates and my schedule fills 😉
 
Hey, the 20th will be then! I want to show off my meterless bodies. 🙂

I'd prefer State (that way we can go take a peek at Central), but if we meet in Oak Park that'll be fine with me too.
 
Sorry, I'm not going to make it, guys. There's a local flickr group here that I just joined. They meet once a month for street (and other) shoots, and it just happens to be on the 20th. But I'm going to still keep in touch with this (Chicago) group, so please post some pictures you guys have from the shoot!

I think so. It's hard for me to say. I run a business, so things happen fast and I'm my own go to person for when the *stuff* hits the fan, so I can't commit to either weekend at this point and should not even be considered in the choosing of the weekend, you guys just pick and I'll see if I can make it when the day comes 🙂.
