Labor Day is the 7th. Later in the month is better.

BTW at work they updated my computer to Windows 7, and as a result somehow I cannot post onto RFF.

Currently I am using an old computer in a remote lab to post this. For some reason the text I type on my Windows 7 machine is displays black letters on black which promotes an error message saying my message is too short.

Anyways it seems my ability to post has been severely curtailed. I'm post when I can.

I think you should update the browser. Mybe try chrome or firefox instead of IE. Win7 is probably one of the most stable operating systems I've used.

Go into the "tools" menu in IE and choose "Compatibility View"

I'm ok with any date in Sept.

I am using another browser.

A miracle: the internet works. LOL.

The lazy slacker in me made me do Pro-Mone's way. I bypassed IE.

which section of the Times?

Jean-Marc,

Old-Timers Disease is setting in: it is either page A12 or A22. The uniquo ad is a two page spread and "Maggie" is in the upper left hand page.

Basically sometime after Labor Day there will be a spread where Maggie will be featured in the Uniquo lifestyle magazine that is stuffed into every bag with a purchase.

Maggie says she is on the NYT website, so she found herself online. Funny thing is that the way she heard about the NYT advertisement was though another professor who sent an e-mail asking, "Is that you in the Uniquo ad in the New York Times Sunday edition?"

Cal

Very nice. I also found the NYT actual page A12 of Sunday's paper. Felicitations to her.

I use to think I was a walking tourist attraction and a reason why tourists come to New York, but now my gal is a cell-leb-burt-T, and I'm nothing more than her entourage.

Now even my dog is getting more well known than me. In the world of fashion; one day you're in; and the next you are out. BTW "Baby-Dog's" new ghetto name is "Beagle-Face."

125th Street in East Harlem is getting a lot of play in the news lately for K2 drug use and the homeless situation. Hipsters stay away. My neighborhood is not safe. My new nick-name for East Harlem is "Rat-Haven." The place is infested. I see rats during the day.

I have a limited supply of Italian goat leather that is awesome to recover cameras. I'll be saving a swatch as a prize for our January event, but I'm offering some limited supply to those that want to glam up their rigs early.

Measure your cameras carefully because the supply is limited and I don't want to waste material. I know Bob might need some to recover a Contax. Not sure if John will use or need some to recover one or two DF's to annoy people. LOL.

Preference given to LTM cameras because they are cute and small like "Baby-Dog" AKA "Beagle-Face."

Cal, can you tell me how much is the thickness of the goat leather you have?
thanks, robert

Robert,

This Italian goat leather is rather thin/skinny. It is ultra high quality like something Prada would use. Its thickness is about the same as 320 GSM photo paper. Imagine a $3K leather jacket.
