Serial Number 220000

I suppose there is no reason why the serial number on this camera is not correct?

Fortunately I don't collect serial numbers...or chrome cameras...

Hmmmm, as it's a Summar I'd be wondering who coated it and when... It could, of course, have been returned to Leitz at any point in the late 40's.

I hope that's obvious and doesn't have to be explained.
