I'm tempted by the black X100 that's available from Amazon (for the colour, not the case!), but I'm slightly concerned that they might be elderly stock which will be more prone to the sticky aperture blades problem. Can anyone provide info?
Thanks,
Al.
Thanks,

I haven't heard of any black ones having this issue though do not accept this as fact. Even if you get one with the issue though, Fuji fixes it super quick.

Thanks a lot J - I finally took the plunge and bought the black one today. It's taken me a month of anguish to decide between X100, X-Pro1 and X-E1! SHould arrive tomorrow - can't wait to get my hands on it...
All three are great cameras, so you couldn't go wrong with whatever you ended up choosing. Enjoy!

Al, I was in the same dilema, exatly the same. Finally I decided to get the X100. I'm really happy. I think X Pro 1 and X-E1 also will be great cameras...
Mine is Black edition also. It is numbered like 09997 number from 10000 and its serial number is 21PXXXXX.
When I'm using the camera I think "it's a small camera" and when I see the files in LR I think "GREAT camera"...
Really love it!
