Dear all,
I know there are other threads.
But they are not stupid (as I am) proof.
I have a simple question and hope to have direct and simple answer.
Suppose I want to screw an E metric filter (say E55) on top of a Leica R lens with series VII attachment.
Is there an adapter, which allows me to do so, and, also, possibly available in Europe?

Uhm, with so many leicaflex fans here, I thought this would be a common problem

There should be such an adapter. I have an adapter engraved "M54 F49". I assume it means male 44mm threads and female 49mm threads because that's what it has. The threads on Ser. VII adapters are approximately 54mm. Therefore, you would need an "M54 F55" adapter. By the way, Ser. VI threads are approximately 44mm if you want to go from Ser.VI to a metric thread.
