Server Mail Problem at RFF?????

ive been receiving subscribed posts from the past, about 2 every minute in the past half an hour. arghhhh. what happened?
 
I've been getting messages from RFF confirming a request for password change. I haven't requested such a change. Also received message that someone has tried 5x times to log in to my acct unsuccessfully. I have that IP address from whoever was trying to log in as me, if that is helpful to the admins/moderators -- pls advise.

again, probably part of the server glitch
the hosting company is aware of it and working to solve it.

PMCC, my guess is that the messages are just an inconsequential byproduct of the server problems, but just in case, please send this info to the head bartender, through the cameraquest.com site.

I tried sending you a PM, but couldn't.



Edit: I see that Stephen is already on it.

This is what I suspected as the cause of the multiple (old) RFF emails.
At first I thought that suddenly some RFF members like what I have posted in the Gallery! Silly me. :D :bang:
 
DAMN !! And here I thought all the PM's and such were for the stuff I had for sale.. and that people wanted to buy... and that I would have extra $$$ coming in because of it... CURSE YOU COMPUTER ISSUES AT RFF !! *shakes fist in air*

Between 6:08pm and 6:10pm ( EST)there were 158 messages from RFF in my in box. The first was a happy b-day message from 2009!
I wasn't logged into my email at the time so I didn't see the deluge come into the in box, I just ckecked in a few minutes ago.
Seems to have stopped.

yep, I emailed Stephen. Don't know if you all experienced this today or not, but RFF has been very slow in loading. I just ran a Virus check on my Mac after having gotten three of these emails purporting to be from the classified ad section and alerting me that the ad would be deleted in 15 days unless I paid up to extend it. It was for an item I never posted on here for sale.
