Service for Canon 7s ?

Does anyone know anyone who can do a CLA on a Canon 7s and re-silver the rangefinder patch? I know several who do Leicas, but not sure if they do this camera.

I heard that DAG will service Canon rangefinders. Ken Ruth (Photography on Bald Mountain) will too. Probably even KEH. You’ll have to ask them about the prism re-silvering though.

Canon split prisms are cemented -- very nasty to separate resilver and re-cement.

Probably cheaper to buy a parts 7 and change the rangefinder unit?
