Any suggestions for someone in the USA to work on a Minolta Flash Meter 6? I recently picked one up at a local dealer for less than the normal used price, which the dealer warned me was because it was flakey -- it had come in with a corroded contact in the battery compartment, which the previous owner claimed he had cleaned up... yeah, right. The contact is OK now, and the spot meter works -- but the incident meter doesn't, and the PC outlet won't fire a flash. When first powered up the meter displays an "ERR Eep" message, which makes me suspect the EEPROM needs to be reflashed.
Apparently after Minolta exited the meter business they sold the rights to Kenko, which continued to sell an apparently identical meter for several years under the name Kenko KFM-2100, so someone who services those might be a possibility as well. Any leads?
