I received another FED-2 camera yesterday (which supposed to be serviced or at least checked) and took it with M4-2 on the field. M4-2 was serviced not so long time ago.
On FED-2 I had Industar-26m with aperture clicks and on M4-2 I have Summicron 50 IV. Both with same film, developed in same tank.
FED-2 lens was with yellow filter.

I have lenses set at f8-f11.

FED-2

Supposed to be serviced or at least checked FED-2 was serviced by me today to have vertical RF alignment and I was trying to deal with uneven exposure. Which I don't like to deal with in FSU Leica like shutters. It could be not just re-tensioning.

If i reading the labels correctly I like the Fed-2 better

Dear Ko. Fe.,

Like I said, I like the ones labeled as from the Fed-2 better. But what do I know?

Sorry I meant the title to read If I am reading.... I guess I left some stuff out?

That’s a really good I-26m you’ve got Kostya. Particularly with the yellow filter, it looks more contrasty than the Summicron.

The Leica appears to be over exposing. You might want to change the exposure a stop or two on that camera and try another roll w/ it.

Well, at least I have optically good I-26M with clicks in aperture ring.
And FED-2 camera with shutter which needs more than just retensioning.
